Surprise Squad Celebrates Allison

You could feel the love today as we surprised an extraordinary teacher alongside Western Mass News Surprise Squad! We celebrated and honored Allison Gonzales, a dedicated 3rd-grade Special Education teacher. Allison consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that her students and colleagues feel loved and supported. Her remarkable efforts include spearheading a campaign to collect donations for a "comfort closet" and essential school supplies for the current school year. This "comfort closet" serves as a haven for all students, providing basic hair and personal hygiene care, first aid, feminine products, as well as snacks and beverages when needed. Allison's goal is to create an environment where every student feels comfortable and excited to be at school ❤️
