Suprise Squad at Central High School

We love to recognize those who go above and beyond to serve their community. For October’s edition of Surprise Squad: Cool Schools, we are celebrating an educator who is also the “team mom” of the Springfield Central High School Golden Eagles football team. Ms. Tammy Jones teaches math at the school, but she also is the “team mom” of their nationally ranked team.

“She runs the booster club. She runs our concession stands. She does everything,” said Springfield Central High School head football coach William Watson.

Tammy was truly so surprised and thankful for everything we gave her. Seeing surprises like that just make it even more special!

14th Annual Tom Cosenzi Driving for The Cure Golf Tournament

THANK YOU WESTERN MA NEWS FOR STOPPING BY TO COVER OUR EVENT!

We hosted our 14th annual Driving for The Cure golf tournament in honor of my dad Tom Cosezni who passed away in September of 2009 at an early age of 52 years of a glioblastoma brain tumor. His vision was that no other family would experience the pain that we endured. It was my dads wish that our family and friends continue to raise money for Neuro Oncology Research so the burden of Cancer can be eliminated for patients and their families.

In our 14th year, we’ve raised a total of $1.46 million dollars! The funds raised get donated directly to Patrick Wen MD., Clinical Director of Dana-Farber Center for Neuro Oncology and his team of researchers. We are honored to be able to do this for Dana-Farber, to support families who are going through the same thing we did.

For more information about our annual tournament or on how to donate to Tom Cosenzi Driving For The Cure please visit http://www.tomcosenzidrivingforthecure.com - every little bit helps to make a difference in our efforts of eliminating the burden of cancer. We sincerely thank you!

Look Park Summer Celebration Auction

We were honored to be the presenting sponsor of the Look Park Summer Celebration Auction!

My family and I love going to Look Park every Sunday morning. We live close by so we’re able to ride our bikes to get breakfast then go to Look Park after. My kids love going there to hangout, get ice cream, and just be involved in everything that goes on. It’s truly a hidden gem!

Come join us next year, it’s an auction and event you don’t want to miss!

Supporting Cooley Dickenson's Nurses During Nurse Appreciation Week

For the second consecutive year, we’ve celebrated and honored Cooley Dickinson’s nurses during National Nurses Week.

This year, we provided ceramic mugs with a custom Nurse Strong design for that perfect little caffeine pick-me-up.

On top of that, we were also able to provide the entire nurse staff with a boxed lunch ordered from Hamel’s creative catering in Holyoke.

Nurses have been through so much, especially during these past few years. My team and I are immensely grateful for what nurses do every day and were happy to be able to show our appreciation with some delicious food.

We are fortunate to have Cooley Dickinson Hospital here in our community and we wanted to show our appreciation. And what a perfect time to say thank you during Nurses Week.
