Country Nissan, Country Hyundai and Northampton Volkswagen were proud to support the 8th Annual Northampton Family Fourth event. Held at Look Memorial Park, this annual event attracts thousands to enjoy the Parks & Recreation Department bounce houses, carnival games and prizes, as well as games provided by other non-profits. The stage was full of great bands throughout the evening, culminating with the Florence Community Band at dusk as the fireworks began.

TommyCar Auto Group Presenting Sponsor at Look Park Summer Auction

Tommy Car Auto Group was excited to sponsor and attend Look Park's Summer Celebration Auction. The event raised funds to support children's programming at the park as well as park beautification initiatives. All money raised from this event will help sustain these special programs so the Park can continue to be a pleasurable and desirable destination for generations to come! This year the park raised $51,000. Congratulations on a wonderful event!

TommyCar Auto was proud to sponsor the Taste of Amherst this year! For over a generation, the Taste of Amherst has established itself as a beloved town and regional institution. The event is filled with food, family, and fun!

Over 20 Amherst area restaurants participated in the event, showcasing some of the area's favorite food along with vendors offering free giveaways!

Tom Cosenzi Scholarship Recipients

As students from across the nation begin to make college and career plans for after high school graduation, the Tom Cosenzi Scholarship announced the two students to receive the $1,000 scholarship to attend college this fall. The Tom Cosenzi Scholarship was established to honor the memory of Thomas E. Cosenzi.  When Thomas E. Cosenzi passed away in 2009, it was not only ownership of the TommyCar Auto Group that passed to his children, Carla and Thomas, but his legacy of giving back to the community. That legacy was evident when the two recipients of the 2018 Tom Cosenzi Scholarship were awarded their checks for $1,000. 

Recipients this year include Alli Zadworny graduating from Northampton High School. She has been accepted to Elms College Nursing Program. Benjamin Andersen of Hopkins Academy will attend University of Massachusetts. Both students demonstrated excellence in the classroom and in the community.

“The quality of the applications we received has been amazing,” said Carla Cosenzi, President of Tommy Car Auto Group. “We are pleased to award these scholarships to the following students, to support their pursuit of education and exploration of career paths.”

TommyCar Auto Supports 2nd Annual Storming the Greens Golf Tournament

Country Nissan, Country Hyundai and Northampton Volkswagen were so proud to support the 2nd Annual Storming the Greens Golf Tournament for Heather McMahon. The proceeds from the tournament will be donated to the Heather McMahon Memorial Fund for Giloblastoma Research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. We strongly believe in this event as it aligns with our Annual Golf Tournament, in memory of Tom Cosenzi, who passed away from a Giloblastoma Brain Tumor. To date, the Tom Cosenzi Driving for the Cure Charity Golf Tournament has raised over $800,000 to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
